Untitled Poem
I try to sleep but your names ring in my head like a resounding alarm. Layleen! Rayshard! Dominique! Riah! Breonna! Sandra! Ahmed!...
A space of Black queer exploration, artistry, and expression
Natalya is a multifaceted Black woman seeking to share a collection of her writing, ranging from essays to poetry. A vessel for self-expression, Natalya often seeks refuge in writing, a dimension where she is able to explore a rich layer of her voice when vocal articulation becomes challenging. With a love for politics, international relations, humanitarianism, and art, Natalya will use this space to explore Black queer feminism, abolitionist praxis, Documentary activism, music, and leftist traditions of organizing to explore the multidimensional aspects of life and enrich human connection with others.
